Join the Blue Zone Festival in New West!

Datenight at the Cinema de Vlugt, a museum visit to the Van Eesteren Museum or admire one of your favorite comedians in the theater. It's all possible in Nieuw-West. But how much do you, as an Amsterdammer, make use of this or are you familiar with the cultural diversity of the district? On the first weekend of July, the Blue Zone Festival takes place, taking you into the art & culture world of Nieuw-West.

Who, What, Where
In the first weekend of July, cultural institutions, artists and makers in Nieuw-West will open their doors to offer special programming on the basis of a common theme. The cultural organizations, artists and cultural makers all give their own interpretation and interpretation of this theme. To make the event as accessible as possible, we want to ensure that most visits are offered free of charge and a maximum of 5 euros per person is charged for participation in a workshop or activity. Given the amount of cultural offerings and the size of the district, it is not possible as a visitor to visit all studios. That is why we also want to offer a curated bike tour with several highlights. Visitors are shown around the district by different people (residents/makers from New West) at different times.
