Fades

On Friday, March 14, the museum will transform into a temporary barber shop! We will then open the exhibition/hair salon Fades by anthropologist and barber Rayn Ramkishun and photographer Patrick Kenawy. The project investigates various informal barbershops in Nieuw-West, in particular the cultural significance of the “overflow” hairstyle, the fade. So let your hair grow and come and cut it at the Van Eesteren!
