Fris Edam! Workshop: making postcards

During the pop-up expo Fris Edam! artist Amy Jadine is giving a postcard-making workshop at the Van Eesteren Museum. Take inspiration from the geometric shapes and soft colors in the exhibition's tableware and then get creative with different media such as oil pastels, paper and pencils to create an abstract postcard. Amy is there to help you get started and give you tips on how to make it a real work of art.

Amy Jadine is an artist from Nieuw-West. Everyday, homely details are the starting point for her work. She zooms in on them and translates them into stand-alone images with an impression of color and texture. With her paintings and sculptures, she wants to strengthen the sense of home in a place and create new anchorages to make an environment feel familiar and personal.
