Launch VOLUME 65: Living Together — A World Tour

On Saturday, September 7, The Van Eesteren Museum and Archis and Nieuwe Instituut will celebrate the grand launch of VOLUME 65: Living Together. On this festive occasion, former chief editor Ole Bouman will talk to journalist Chris Keulemans about his bike ride from Amsterdam to Shanghai.

Last year, Ole Bouman united his three fascinations: history, architecture and cycling by taking a ten-thousand-kilometer bike ride to the Far East. In an interview, he explains to Chris Keulemans, among other things, how he experienced how to see the effect of historical cultural changes in the present. In addition, several guest storytellers read aloud a selection of Volume 65: a mosaic of cohabitation stories.

Living Together
The latest VOLUME number here available and at retail outlets worldwide. It is entirely about living and living together. Using stories from more than 25 countries, the authors reflect on housing crises as well as new perspectives and creative ways in which people deal with housing, household and the potential of community living.
